About this experience

This class series will be two seperate parts, Sunday September 7th and Sunday September 14th.

When you sign up for this class, you are comitting to attend both two hour sessions of this class series.

This is a beginner class for ages 12 to adult. 

Create your very own 8-inch Tree of Life wall hanging in this hands-on workshop. Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to learn a new craft, this class will guide you through every step of the process.

What's Included:

  • All materials provided: wire, beads, and metal rings

  • Tools for shaping and creating your wire tree

  • Step-by-step guidance from a skilled instructor


During Part 1 (9/7/2025) you will learn:
1. How to determine the amount of wire you'll need and how to cut those pieces.
2. How to load the wire onto the metal ring.
3. How to twist the roots and trunk.
 
During Part 2 (9/14/2025) you will learn:
1. Dividing the trunk into branches
2. Adding the bead chain to the branches
3. Making a bail to hang your art piece from of one of the limbs.
 
During each class I will share how I determine the number of branches, and style of tree I'll be making. My intention is to maintain a casual, follow along atmosphere where your questions are welcomed, and personal assistance is given as requested. By the end of the class, you'll walk away with a beautiful, handmade piece of art to display in your home. No prior experience necessary—just bring your creativity!

Please be aware that Crafty AF is an artistic space. We use a variety of materials such as paint, resin, glue and much more. Please wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. We do provide aprons and gloves here at Crafty AF.

Workshops are to be reserved at least 48 hours in advance. This gives our artists time to prep the materials needed for the class. If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP. No refunds will be given to any cancellations within 72 hours of the class. Our artists work hard to prep the workshops. We will try to assemble a Take Home Kit, or possibly a credit to a future class.
