Sewing 101 w/ Cian

Your Basic intro to all things Sewing. This class is a hands on, beginner friendly experience to learning how to use a sewing machine, tips & tricks and sewing your first project. In this class, we will be sewing a Lined Tote Bag. Included in your fee is Guided instruction by a Sewing Educator, use of our machines & all materials to get you going on your project

General Rules/ Etiquette: 

• While all supplies and materials are included in your class, please be mindful and careful with your use of Classroom supplies. Many students will have the chance to use these and we would like to preserve them for as long as we can for as many people to enjoy

• Please arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes prior to class. Starting on time will allow us to make the most of our learning time and allow you to ensure your project can be finished in the allotted time

• Please keep food and drinks off the tables and away from the machines. Drinks with lids or seals are allowed but kept preferably away from your workstation

• We ask that you do not bring your own machine to our Sewing 101 or Sewing 102 classes. We want to make sure the machines are in operating order and will not cause any frustration to our students as they work through class. Feel free to bring your machine to Sewing Sewcial Hour if you would prefer but we will have machines available for use during class times

• If you have any questions, always feel welcome to raise your hand and ask. Questions are encouraged
