Key Class Details
Participants will create an 4-inch suncatcher using aluminum wire, faceted beads, and a dangling crystal to create rainbows in the sun.
Skill Level: Beginner-friendly for ages 12 and up.
What to expect
Customization: Attendees choose their metal ring color (gold or silver) and a bead color palette (Green, Blue, Red, or Purple) during the class.
Techniques: Instruction covers wire twisting for branches, trunk, and roots, as well as attaching bails and crystals.
Materials: All tools and supplies re provided, along with a box to safely transport the finished piece home.
The “Tree of Life” itself is a universal symbol representing growth, connection and harmony
across many cultures.
To ensure you have the best experience, we provide aprons and a convenient hand washing sink for your use. However, we recommend wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit of paint on, just in case creativity takes a colorful turn. We hope you enjoy your time creating and expressing yourself in our vibrant space!
How to get here - Parking lot is behind the building at 56th and S. Washington St.
The building is right hand side - the green building. Signage will show Silver Kings and Crafty AF. Enter the door, we are on the left side.
Workshops are to be reserved at least 48 hours in advance. This gives our artists time to prep the materials needed for the class. If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP. No refunds will be given to any cancellations within 72 hours of the class. Our artists work hard to prep the workshops. We will try to assemble a Take Home Kit, or possibly a credit to a future class.
