Wire and Bead Tree of Life Class

About this experience

This is a beginner class for ages 12 to adult. Due to the time required to complete a Tree of Life, the instructor will provide a formed tree within a 6 inch metal ring for you to complete with bead chain which forms the trees canopy.

You will begin with a formed wire tree attached to a 6 inch metal ring. The class will consist of completing the leaf sections of the branches. You will have choices to make when signing up for this class of: Metal ring color, color of wire used to make your tree, and the color of bead chain you will use when completing your tree.

The instructor will demonstrate and assist if needed in how to attach the bead chain, how to terminate the branches, shaping branches, and answer your questions as best as possible. All materials will be supplied. Flush cutters will be available for use.

This project can take up to 2 hours to complete. A box will be provided to take your masterpiece home.

Please be aware that Crafty AF is an artistic space. We use a variety of materials such as paint, resin, glue and much more. Please wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. We do provide aprons and gloves here at Crafty AF.

Workshops are to be reserved at least 48 hours in advance. This gives our artists time to prep the materials needed for the class. If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP. No refunds will be given to any cancellations within 72 hours of the class. Our artists work hard to prep the workshops. We will try to assemble a Take Home Kit, or possibly a credit to a future class.
